SEO Account Manager
Location: Derby
Full-time | Hybrid working (minimum two days per week in our Derby office)
Based at Gravity Digital’s office in Derby, we are looking for an SEO specialist to join our multi-award-winning busy marketing agency team.

This is an interesting and varied hands-on marketing position that offers the opportunity to make the role your own. Key responsibilities:
Overview
As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimising our clients’ websites to improve their search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You will work closely with our team of digital marketing experts, leveraging your technical and creative skills to develop and implement effective SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities and trends.
- Optimise on-page elements including meta tags, headers, and content for target keywords.
- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend solutions for website improvements.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators in-house to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated.
- Provide regular reports and insights on SEO performance and progress to clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of ranking factors and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SERanking, SEMRush etc.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An understanding of HTML and CSS would be an advantage.
- Previous experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.

The role is based in Derby, and own transport is required. Occasional client site visits may be necessary.
