NWG Network

NWG Network

The NWG is a UK wide charity tackling child exploitation and wider exploitation through a network of practitioners, researchers and policymakers.

Over a few years, NWG continually struggled with the organic growth their membership has experienced.  As they aimed to increase growth and be more accessible to a wider cohort of members, they found a need to develop and improve the method of digital engagement on offer. Another problem was as the website grew, the previous site became unstable, especially with the increase in membership numbers.

After discussing their needs and priorities, we came up with a solution for a new site that would encapsulate all their current content and needs, as well as future-proof their membership offering. The focus of the project was to enhance NWG’s Knowledge Hub, create a better more defined experience, focusing on different areas for member categories, making resources easier to access and to enable workspaces for online forums.

Another key focus for us was that the website needed to be maintained from a security and software point of view and would include daily back-ups for disaster recovery, security and software updates and hosting. This was due to the nature of the content and business.

More Than Loft Ladders

More Than Loft Ladders

More Than Loft Ladders is a friendly local team of loft experts covering Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and South Yorkshire.

During the pandemic, More Than Loft Ladders had increasing difficulty in quoting and visiting potential clients to discuss their needs. As business has grown significantly in the last few years and with an increasing client base throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, it was important that a new-look website reflected this.

Our immediate goal and needs were for a refreshment, enhancing the online offering, creating a virtual quote system that was easy for potential clients to use and the business to manage. We got to work and designed a bespoke virtual quote system, that allowed clients to choose what they needed, as well as giving dimensions and tagging on any features they were interested in. With the added addition of a booking tool, clients can simply choose when a convenient time is for them to have an online video call with an expert fitter.

“When we go to someone’s home, we care, and we treat it as if it were our own. We have built a reputation of trust combined with excellent workmanship. This is exactly how Gravity treat us and I love working with them”

The introduction of a bespoke enquiry feature has allowed More Than Loft Ladders to reach a larger field of clientele across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. This has been further enhanced by using target PPC campaigns, based on area and types of client, as well as using social media effectively, developing their digital footprint.

Since working with Gravity, sales and enquiries for More Than Loft Ladders have more than doubled. We enjoy working with such a vibrant and evolving team of people and can’t wait to see what’s next on the horizon.

MBS Item

MBS Item

Machine Building Systems is the UK distributor of the Item modular aluminium profile system for use where industrial equipment is required, both for bespoke automation solutions and mechanical engineering projects.

The company pride themselves on quick delivery times, massive stockholding, excellent build quality, dedicated engineering support and, of course, unsurpassed product quality, making MBS the natural choice for machine builders and end users alike. This is why they needed a website that stacked up to the growing demand for their product range.

Gravity Digital designed and developed the website in close consultation with the team at MBS making sure all of their requirements were taken care of. Adding thousands of products to the site posed a challenge in terms of ensuring it was easy to use, so we needed to design the website so that the user experience wasn’t compromised. The website includes a ‘user-friendly’ search facility and a category system, allowing customers to find relevant products quickly. The site also incorporates a quote system, where users can built up a list of required products, and easily send this through to the sales team at MBS,

As part of the website maintenance contract, we provide support and carry out regular security updates, continuous monitoring, software updates and daily back-ups.

Derby Festé

Derby Festé

Derby Festé is an annual festival of a wide range of street art, theatre, music and family fun. Every year the event attracts more than 30,000 people to the streets of Derby and is produced through a partnership of the leading cultural organsiations in the city.

Attracting such a large audience for an event once a year takes a lot of co-ordination of marketing activities – and that’s what we manage here at Gravity. Our Director, Sharon Stevens-Cash, has been lucky enough to be involved since 2010, and audiences have grown year on year since.
