Two of Gravity Digital’s clients Mr Fothergill’s and Griffin Glasshouses will be attending 3 of the largest horticultural shows in the UK this year.
Social media platforms are an excellent way of communicating with a brand’s followers and we’ll be covering Mr Fothergill’s and Griffin Glasshouses’ attendance at these prestigious events bringing the shows to social media audiences.
As each year proves, it is the busiest time online for the duration of the shows with social media exploding with photos, tweets and posts from enthusiastic people attending the shows. 2017 will be no different, and for Derbyshire, the new RHS Chatsworth show will be an exciting new highlight in the year for the County.
The Chelsea Flower Show – 23th – 27th May 2017
The Chelsea Flower show by the Royal Horticultural Society is the world’s most prestigious flower show that inspires millions through showcasing the best in garden design. The show has been held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London every year since 1913, apart from gaps during the two World Wars. Once Britain’s largest flower show (it has now been overtaken by RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show), it is still the most prestigious attracting around 157,000 visitors every year and 500 exhibitors from all around the world.
Chatsworth Flower Show – 7th – 11th June 2017
Bold and innovative this new show by the RHS is set to be simply amazing. Held at the historic Chatsworth House in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District, the show will feature gardens and designs from hotly–tipped designers, fascinating talks, spectacular displays and inspirational gardens.
Hampton Court Palace Flower Show – 4th – 9th July 2017
Established in 1990, the RHS Hampton Court show is the world’s largest, annual flower show, where the showground covers 34 acres of parkland. Attracting approximately 120,000 visitors each year, the conceptual gardens at Hampton Court are considered to be some of the world’s finest.
Gravity Digital were engaged to create a social media presence for both companies in 2013, neither of whom had experimented with social media before. Over the last 3 years we’ve built a large and engaged following for both brands which has been a great tool for furthering the digital footprint for the brands online.
