Overview
Derby Book Festival began over a glass of wine in QUAD back in February 2014 when two book lovers, Jenny Denton and Sian Hoyle, shared a dream of celebrating books, stories, and the joy of reading. With no festival-running experience but plenty of passion, they teamed up with Derby’s leading arts and education organisations, and the rest is history.
Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Festival has become one of Derby’s cultural highlights, hosting more than 100 events every year that bring together authors, readers, and communities of all ages.
We’ve been proud to support Derby Book Festival across multiple seasons, most recently for the 2025 Summer and Autumn programmes, designing and producing printed materials that capture the festival’s creative spirit. From bookmarks and 32-page brochures to leaflets and pull-up banners, our work helps festival-goers navigate and enjoy a packed programme of literary delights.
We absolutely love the designs and vibrant colours to appeal to a wide and diverse community. Gravity has been patient and took the time to understand our objectives. Many thanks again for all your support.

Not an easy task but Gravity always work so hard to meet our tight deadlines and make sure we deliver high quality materials to our visitors.
