Gravity’s Show Site Celebration for Roundpeg Outdoor Buildings

At Gravity Digital, we love getting the best results for our clients, whatever the task in hand. So when Sally from Roundpeg Outdoor Buildings approached us to support the launch of her brand-new show site in Yoxall, we couldn’t wait to get stuck in.

The Brief: More Than Just an Open Day

Sally’s goal was simple: get people to visit their newly launched show site. But being based in a rural spot off of the beaten track meant she was concerned that footfall might be a little light.

Our task was to turn this open day into a buzzing local event that attracted people from the county of Staffordshire and neighbouring Derbyshire to find out more about what Roundpeg has to offer. The offer is everything from log cabins and sheds to summer houses and custom garden buildings that work all year round, whatever the weather.

Planning the Perfect Launch

To make sure we spread the word far and wide (and in all the right places), we pulled together a creative, multi-channel campaign that mixed the best of digital and traditional marketing. Here’s how we did it:

  • Digital buzz: Social media posts, blogs, newsletters, and website updates, all geared toward building anticipation and awareness.
  • Print power: We designed a high-quality invitation that reflected Roundpeg’s style and professionalism. We didn’t stop at design, either we organised the print and recommended a trusted local delivery company, Leaflet Lion to get them into homes across the area.
  • Clear directions: With a remote location, clear signage and “how to find us” details were a must, so we made sure all the materials included practical travel information.

Local Love & Community Collabs

This wasn’t just about shouting from the rooftops of these outdoor buildings, it was about connecting people.

We encouraged Sally to team up with other local businesses, and the response was fantastic. Prizes for the event raffle were donated by neighbouring small businesses like Green Door Bakery, Paul Shum Butchers, Scrummys at the Barn, and Woodside Nurseries. It turned into a celebration of local talent and flavours!

And that’s not all, our wonderful client Hunters Furniture (based in Derby) came on board too, styling one of the show buildings to create a real wow moment. Cosy Direct (always great to work with) styled another space. These collaborations made the site come to life showing exactly how these buildings can be transformed into stylish, functional rooms.

Giveaways & Good Vibes

To add that extra sparkle, we designed and organised printed giveaways for the day including notebooks, pencils, and seed packets all packaged beautifully for people to take away. Thoughtful little touches that left a lasting impression.

The Result? A Fantastic Turnout And A Very Happy Client

Despite Sally’s initial worries about her rural location, the event exceeded all expectations. Visitors turned up with their postcard invites in hand, and many mentioned how impressed they were with the quality (we love hearing that). The site was buzzing with activity, conversations, and genuine excitement about what Roundpeg offers. Not only did the day generate sales and solid enquiries, but more importantly, it firmly planted Roundpeg on the local map

In a Nutshell…
