Sharon becomes Ambassador for Safe and Sound
At Gravity we believe businesses should be part of the communities they work in so we’re really proud to share that our Co-Founder and Director, Sharon Stevens-Cash, has become an Ambassador for Derby charity Safe and Sound.
Safe and Sound supports young people who are at risk of, or experiencing, child exploitation. It’s an issue that is often hidden in plain sight, which is why the charity works tirelessly to protect vulnerable young people, raise awareness and provide support to families across the region.
Through her role as an Ambassador, Sharon will be helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work, supporting fundraising initiatives and helping people within her professional networks understand the positive impact that this charity has on the wider community.
Sharon Stevens-Cash said:
“Safe and Sound does such important work supporting young people who may be vulnerable or at risk of exploitation. It’s an issue that is often hidden and not always easy to recognise, which is why raising awareness is so important. I’m really proud to be supporting the charity as an Ambassador and helping to shine a light on the incredible work they do.”
Tracy Harrison, CEO of Safe and Sound, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Sharon as an Ambassador for Safe and Sound. Support from people within our local business community helps us reach more young people and raise awareness of the risks of exploitation. Ambassadors like Sharon play an important role in helping us continue our vital work.”
We’re looking forward to supporting Sharon in this role and helping raise awareness of the work Safe and Sound does to keep young people safe.
