Planting for the Future: Gravity’s Ongoing Commitment to Sustainable Action with Co-Treetment
At Gravity, sustainability isn’t a box-ticking exercise or a once-a-year PR moment. It’s something we believe should make a real and lasting difference in the ground. For the past two years, we’ve partnered with Co-Treetment, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to restoring natural habitats through local tree-planting. Our team has now planted over 300 trees small actions that will grow into something far bigger, year after year.
Why We Plant
Our goal is simple: to make a positive, stable and sustainable impact in our own region. Planting trees is a practical, hands-on way to support biodiversity, improve air quality and give something back to the place we live and work.
A Day of Community, Collaboration and Muddy Boots
This year, Gravity joined a fantastic group of local organisations who share the same vision for a healthier, greener Midlands. In just two hours, 750 trees were planted across two areas of the Co-Treetment site, 300 near the main entrance and 450 by the thought bench. The day was filled with teamwork, conversation, laughter and a great deal of camaraderie.
Why Co-Treetment Matters
Co-Treetment has now planted 7,250 trees in the Midlands meaning the environmental benefit stays local. Simon Evans one of the Directors at Co-Treetment said; “Our Planet Before Profit ethos aligns strongly with values that many organisations feel strongly about. Sustainability may not always be profitable, but it is essential.”
Sharon Stevens-Cash Director at Gravity Digital added; “We’re proud to support Co-Treetment not just financially, but by showing up, shovels in hand, to do the work. This isn’t a one-off. We’ll be back in 2026, continuing to contribute to a project that grows in impact year after year.
